Everytime I make a smoothie bowl, I wonder why I don’t make it more often. Pretty much the story of my life, haha. Smoothie bowls are so easy and quick to make, I love that you can top them with whatever flavours you have in your pantry or that you’re feeling. Literally throw in all your ingredients in a blender or in a glass jar and use an immersion blender, blend the mixture until its thick and creamy, or however you like the consistency of your smoothie. Strawberry Banana Smoothie Bowl
Yield: 1 bowl
1 banana, frozen
3/4 cup fresh strawberries
2 tsp nut butter (I used almond butter)
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 cup cashew milk
Throw everything in a blender and blend until the mixture is thick and creamy. Top with your favourite toppings!
I used PC bluemenu ancient grains, strawberry and banana slices and coconut flakes.
