Gal Meets Glam Collection / Entertain with Anna BondCloset Detox / Tiramisu Cheesecake / Pomegranate Rose Latte / Chinese Dumplings

Friday is finally here! You would think that as a freelancer, everyday is my Friday but I actually look forward to the weekend to relax and unplug a little. I hope you guys enjoyed these 6 reads and recipes! I’m constantly on the internet reading articles, blogs and recipes so this is my way of sharing what I’ve been reading this week and if there are any interesting links you love, do share!

A little home update…

I’m currently still working on finishing up my bedroom refresh. It’s been taking a while because I am so indecisive when it comes to furniture. We recently purchased this beautiful West Elm Stella Bed, that I’ve been waiting for about a year for it to be available in Canada and I am obsessed! I’m just looking to complete it with nightstand tables, a couple pretty lamps and as Kate La Vie would call them.. “bits and bobs” hehe. Will keep you posted on the progress!

In case you guys missed it this past week..

I shared my version of Magnolia Bakery’s famous Banana Pudding.. it’s a super simple recipe that is SO, SO good. I also made this delicious and hearty French Onion Soup which you should totally make THIS weekend.. considering it’s been rainy which a chance of snow.. I think we all need this French Onion Soup.

Gal Meets Glam Collection / Entertain with Anna Bond / Closet Detox / Tiramisu Cheesecake / Pomegranate Rose Latte / Chinese Dumplings

1. Gal Meets Glam Collection { Gal Meets Glam }

If you don’t already know, Julia Engel, the QUEEEEEN of all things pink and feminine is launching her own dress collection that launching THIS April 20th!!! You guys have NO idea how excited I am, I’ve been saving this date in my calendar since the day she announced it. I’ve been creeping her sneak peeks into her Spring Collection.. and all the fabrics, pieces and silhouettes she’s designed are beyond dreamy.  I can’t wait to shop!

2. Rifle Paper Co. Entertains at Home { Domino Mag }

When Rifle Paper Co. does collaborations, you know I’m on board especially when it has to do with the kitchen!! This Spring, they’re launching a collab with Hadley & Bennett, who make beautiful aprons, and you know it’s going to be full of beautiful florals! AHHHHHHH! Anna recently hosted a dinner at her home and this is what she served!

3. Closet Detox { Art in the Find }

I have been following Conni on Instagram for a while now. She’s a wardrobe stylist and is the absolute cutest! She shares her tips and tricks on how to do a closet detox and I am in desperate need of one. I always find it so difficult to dress myself everyday and usually go through 2-3 outfit changes until I finally find something I feel good in. I’m constantly battling the struggle of never have anything to wear and after reading this, I know that I DEFINITELY need one!

4. Tiramisu Cheesecake { Amy in the Kitchen }

If you guys know me, you know my all-time favourite dessert is Tiramisu. Anytime there’s tiramisu on the menu, you know I’m ordering it. A couple weeks ago, I headed to the states to do a Target run with my cousin and obviously stopped by the Cheesecake Factory. It’s just what we do. My go-to are Lemon Raspberry or Tiramisu. I’ve been wanting to try to remake this delicious dessert and guinea pigs want to come over and help me?

5. Pomegranate Rose Latte { Glitter Guide }

Obviously, I enjoy this recipe for two reasons.. #1 It’s pink and #2 rose latte! The first time I had a rose latte was at Farm Girl in London, it was beautiful and so delicious! I think that finding the perfect balance of flavouring with rose is so key, especially in a drink, because if you add too much, it starts to taste very soapy. This looks so pretty I can’t wait to try it.

6. Chinese Pot Stickers { Extra Petite }

Need I say more? I don’t cook Asian food at home that often but when I do, I question why I don’t do it more often!! Jean’s Chinese Dumplings look SO good and easy-ish to make haha.
