1. How Self-Employment Affected My Mental Health {This Renegade Love}

This is an amazing read for anyone who is thinking of working for themselves or is working for themselves and currently battling the affects of self-employment on their mental health. I can 100% relate and remember how much anxiety I was struggling with when I quit my job to create full-time. I’ve never been an anxious person and did not know how to deal with it. I still struggle with anxiety from time to time but I create lists, I take breaks and talk to other people and friends who have been there and how they overcame it.

2. 2018 Horoscopes {Nadine Jane Astrology}

2018 Horoscopes. That is all. 🙂

3. 6 Tips on Getting Started on your Business {Gal Meets Glam}

Julia Engel is the queen of all things pink and feminine, it’s no wonder she’s one of my favourite bloggers! I had the chance to meet her when Joelle and I recently travelled to LA to attend Create & Cultivate. Julia is so sweet and even more beautiful in person. Her husband, Thomas is taking over this blog post and he gives us 6 tips on how to get started if you’re thinking of starting your own business. I love how open Thomas and Julia are on their business, photography and editing tips.

4. Salted Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookies {Alison Roman’s Dining In Cookbook published on Bon Appetit}

These cookies have been following me EVERYWHERE, so naturally I had to bake Alison’s cookies. These are a play on the traditional chocolate chunk cookies turned into a shortbread and encrusted in sugar.. OMG how have I never had cookies like these before. When baked, the sugar crust bakes into a crispy crust, the chocolate chunk shortbread is SO buttery and delicious. No wonder this cookie is Insta-famous. You guys need to make these asap.

5. Gluten-free Cauliflower Pizza Crust {Threads and Blooms}

I remember attempting to make cauliflower pizza crust a few years ago and failed miserably because I didn’t have a food processor. Emily makes this look SO good and SO easy! I can’t wait to try this for dinner this week! Plus it’s gluten free and thus healthy in my books (even though it has a ton of delicious cheese).

6. Portuguese Custard Tarts {Tasting Table}

Last week I met up with my friend Siffat who has been travelling overseas for the last 5 months. She recently visited Lisbon, Portugal and following along her Instagram stories, I actually got so hungry. Lisbon is slowly gaining a lot of attraction as the new tourist destination. I’ve never really had Portugal hight on my list of places to visit until recently. And now, all I can think about is travelling to Portugal and eating all the shrimp and custard tarts! Until then, I will be on the hunt to find THE best tarts in Toronto and definitely trying out this recipe!

    Loved reading This Renegade Love’s post on mental health because I remember how tricky the transition from full time employment to full time working for myself was. Thanks for sharing these links, and happy Friday!
