2017 seems like forever ago even though it’s only just passed. It’s been about two months since I left my job to pursue my dreams full-time. It’s scary to think that I’m my own boss, photographer, editor and biggest critic. Having only fallen into this role less than a year ago, it seems like so much has happened since. I’ve met so many amazing people on this journey and most importantly learned so much about myself.
When I travel, I’m always on the hunt for cute, pink places. Always trying to get that cute coffee shot, find that pink house everyone’s been photographing and trying to find the next best thing to eat. Obviously the cuteness and pinkness scale varies depending on who I’m travelling with but it’s no surprise that when Joelle and I are together, you know we’re on the hunt.
Last year, I hosted my first holiday cookie exchange party in my home. I invited a dozen new and old friends to come with twelve of their all-time favourite cookies whether they were store-bought or homemade. It was great way to get old and new friends together and just eat, drink and be merry!
That feeling you get when you walk into a shop and find everything you’ve been looking for and not looking for. This past weekend, I visited the Scarborough Town Centre’s Holiday MRKT, a one-stop shop where you can pick up all your holiday gifts! The STC Holiday MRKT has over 30 different, local artisans offering beautiful and unique gifts!
