If you know me, you know that I'm a homebody. I love going out for nice dinners and checking out cool restaurants in the city but there's nothing that gives me more comfort than being at home. I do love hosting though! I love having our friends and family over for dinner, nothing fancy, all we need is good food and good company and we are happy! I use to find hosting parties to be exhausting but after my last holiday party, I am taking my own advice to spend less time in the kitchen and more time with my favourite people!

During my week of doing the Whole30.. I mean the Whole7 (lol), I stocked up on a bunch of bananas. By bunch, I don't mean one bunch, I mean a bunch. I needed to have something healthy and something sweet when my sugar cravings hit. After quitting the Whole30, I had a bunch of bananas left over, some I froze to make my Banana Nice Cream and the rest I used to make this sticky and gooey caramelized banana upside down cake.
